A note from Principal Springer

Kim Springer

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the Principal of LUMIN Schools, Pilgrim Lutheran. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such determined scholars, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this school and to support the scholars and families of such an amazing community. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to caring for your scholars each and every day while providing them a world-class learning environment.

I arrived at Pilgrim as a seasoned teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience in grades K4-8th grade. I bring all of these experiences with me as I partner with each of you to ensure your scholar’s success.

At Pilgrim , we are committed to fostering a love for learning, nurturing curiosity, and empowering our students to reach their full potential. We believe that education is a partnership between home and school, and we are dedicated to working closely with you to ensure your child's success. Our dedicated and passionate educators will work tirelessly to create engaging and inspiring learning experiences that promote academic excellence, character development, and the acquisition of 21st-century skills.

Throughout the school year, you can expect open lines of communication, regular updates on your child's progress, and opportunities to get involved in school activities and events. We value your input and feedback and encourage you to be active participants in your child's education.

As we embark on this exciting journey together, I want to assure you that the safety and well-being of your scholar are our top priorities. We have implemented comprehensive health and safety protocols to provide a secure and healthy learning environment, and we will continue to monitor and adapt to the evolving circumstances.

Once again, I extend a warm welcome to you and your family to the Pilgrim community. Together, we will create a bright and successful future for your scholar. If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to introduce yourself, please feel free to reach out to our school office at 414-259-0190.

Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating your scholar. I look forward to a rewarding and enriching school year ahead.
