What is your philosophy about education and its importance?
“Rooted in Proverbs 22:6, my philosophy is we must train students up in the way they should go so as they grow into adults they stand firm in their faith and have necessary life skills. We have high expectations, emphasize character education, and encourage the pursuit of college education so that our students will be successful in their journeys.”
What makes Pilgrim Lutheran School special?
“Pilgrim Lutheran is a top-rated school in Wis. We believe in a “We Not Me” mentality where our team of servant leaders consistently puts our scholars first to give them the best possible education. We lead like Jesus and work relentlessly to create a school that is purposeful, positive, and organized so that scholars are better equipped to learn.”What do you love about what you do?“Watching the Pilgrim team and scholars accept God as the author of their lives is fulfilling to me. It is fun to see the ‘Ah-Ha’ moments start to happen in all aspects of their lives when this happens. Plus, the ability to serve others gives me great delight!”
What is your hope for LUMIN scholars as they grow?
“I want every LUMIN scholar to know the love and promises of God and are willing to commit their lives to kingdom building and service work with confidence because of their quality academic and character education foundation.”
